Recommendations for virtual classes can be made by members. This is available at no added cost.įort Sanders FLEX is available for members to upgrade to their membership for only $15 a month.įREE virtual classes will be available in all three studios and will be shown during the times a live class is not going on.Īlong with our live Group Fitness schedule we will now offer a virtual schedule for the members who are unable to attend a live class. Simply locate the kiosk that is in each studio and select which class you would prefer. We will allow open times in our schedule for members to select from the 400+ Virtual Group Fitness Classes. Beach volleyballs are available to rent at no cost to current gym members at the UMW Fitness Center in exchange for an EagleONE ID card.Ī valid membership and EagleONE ID is required to access UMW recreational spaces.Simply email requesting an upgrade form and put “Fort Sanders FLEX” in the subject line of your email. The Beach Volleyball Court is located near the Campus Recreation Field and is open for all UMW students to enjoy. The CRF is not available for open recreation use at this time.
Portable spectator bleachers, player benches, restrooms, and a storage building are all found down at the CRF. The ATurf surface allows practices and competition to take place in most weather conditions and the Musco Advanced Lighting system enables play to continue into the evening and in overcast conditions. This field is the home to many of our Eagle sport clubs and plays host to our outdoor intramural sports. The CRF is located on Alvey Drive near the parking deck. The Fitness Center This 19,000 square foot facility added onto Goolrick Hall in 2004 houses a cycle studio, strength equipment, over 40 cardio. Please contact UMW’s Office of Events and Conferencing to reserve the pool. It is used for varsity and club swim practices and meets, individual exercise classes, recreational swim for the UMW community, and can be rented out for events or local swim practices. The Goolrick pool is 6 lanes and 179,000 gallons.
